Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) College of American Pathologists (CAP)
Frisbie Memorial Hospital Laboratory was recognized and congratulated for the excellence of the services being provided. The CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program is recognized by the federal government as being equal to or more stringent than the government's own inspection program.
During the CAP accreditation process, inspectors examine the laboratory's records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. CAP inspectors also examine laboratory staff qualifications, as well as the laboratory's equipment, facilities, safety program and record, in addition to the overall management of the library.

Harvard Pilgrim Hospital Honor Roll
Harvard Pilgrim's Hospital Honor Roll recognizes those adult, acute care hospitals whose performance was among the top 25% of those measured nationally on a set of composite quality and patient experience measures, as reported by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on Hospital Compare. Frisbie has received this honor for the past 2 years.

American Diabetes Association Recognizes Frisbie's Diabetes Education Program
The Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Frisbie Memorial Hospital diabetes self-management education program has been awarded continued Recognition from the American Diabetes Association (ADA). The program was originally awarded in 2008. This program offers high-quality education services to the patients it serves.
The ADA Education Recognition effort, begun in the fall of 1986, is a voluntary process which assures that approved education programs have met the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education Programs. Programs that achieve Recognition status have a staff of knowledgeable health professionals who can provide state-of-the-art information about diabetes management for participants.
